Drug doping, live baiting and mass animal burials plague greyhound racing industry in Victoria, says former trainer
A former greyhound trainer says he received death threats when he tried to speak up about live baiting in the sport.
‘Jake Smith’, who spoke to the ABC’s Nicole Chvastek on the condition of anonymity, said the whole board of Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) should be sacked.
He said revelations of live baiting on last week’s Four Corners were just the beginning.
“I’m just amazed that’s all that got out after all these years,” he said.
