A police dog died after biting into a one kilogram brick of cocaine and eating enough to kill him
In an undercover sting federal agents ordered a kilogram of cocaine from Jamie Gonzalez-Lopez, 33, in July 2011, authorities said.
Gonzalez-Lopez then hid the drugs in a Brunswick County field while waiting to meet the ‘buyer.’
Agents arrested Gonzalez-Lopez and his co-defendant Braulio Yanez Marin, 28, after they had been shown the ‘buy money.’
